The RRB application fee is Rs. 500/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. The amount of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage of CBT.

Accounts Clerk cum Typist:
12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is notto be insisted upon in case of SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability / Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stage). Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential.

RRB NTPC UG Selection Process 2026
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT):
The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test Test (as applicable) and Document Verification / Medical Examination.
There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Typing Skill Test (TST):
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
