Coast Guard Navik Recruitment 2026: Indian Coast Guard (ICG) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty – GD), Navik (Domestic Branch – DB) and Yantriks for 365 vacancies through Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) 2027 for 01/2027 & 02/2027 Batches. All eligible Male and Female candidates can apply online through the official Join Indian Coast Guard website joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in from 06th October 2026 till the last date of application submission 21st October 2026 for Navik GD, DB and Yantriks Recruitment Examination 2027.
The Stage-I dates are tentative and the Coast Guard will announce the exact examination dates and e-admit-card availability separately.

For Yantrik – CGEPT-01/27, candidates should be born between 01 May 2005 and 01 May 2009.
For Navik (DB) – CGEPT-02/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2005 and 01 October 2009.
For Hygienist – CGEPT-01/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2007 and 01 October 2009.
Age relaxation is applicable as per the notification: OBC – 03 years and SC/ST – 05 years, wherever applicable.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Eligibility Criteria 2026
Navik (General Duty) :
Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Age:- Navik (GD) for 01/27 & 02/27 batch Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2005 to 01 May 2009.
Navik (Domestic Branch) :
Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Age:- Navik (DB) for 02/27 batch Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2005 to 01 Oct 2009.
Hygienist-I :
Matriculation OR ITI OR equivalent from Board of Education recognised by the Central/ State Government.
Age:- Hygienist-I for 02/27 batch Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2002 to 01 Oct 2009.
Yantrik :
Class 10th passed and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years. OR
Class 10th & Class 12th passed and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years.
Age:- Yantrik for 01/27 batch Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 to 01 May 2009.

Indian Coast Guard Computer Based Exam Syllabus 2026
Computer Based Examination : A computer based exam (CBE) with a total of 100 questions each carrying 01 marks will be conducted. The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
